About us

Parker & Kissane Solicitors was established in Casino in 1902 by William Parker & John Joseph Kissane and has grown to become the leading provider of legal services in the Northern Rivers with offices in Casino, Ballina, Kyogle and Lismore.

In recent years, Parker & Kissane has acquired the local firms Grahams Lawyers and Trenches McKenzie Cox Solicitors in Lismore and Clarissa Huegill Law in Ballina, enhancing the breadth and depth of legal services to our clients.

We have a team of over 50 solicitors and support staff working together to provide comprehensive solutions to all your legal needs. We advise a range of clients from individuals, families, businesses, corporations and not-for-profits in the Northern Rivers and beyond.

Our mission

Parker & Kissane Solicitors practices in a range of legal areas providing complete legal services to its clients. We have solicitors dedicated to providing advice and assistance to clients navigating commercial and transactional legal arrangements from buying, selling, leasing, and business advice to comprehensive estate, succession, and family arrangements. Separately our dispute and litigation solicitors are available to provide strategic advice and assistance to clients navigating complex matters in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts as well as Appeal Courts and in all Tribunals and Commissions. These solicitors are supported by a team of assistants and paralegals whose role in managing client relationships and their knowledge of legal processes is an invaluable addition to the service our clients receive. These services are underscored by a commitment to being approachable, relevant, and progressive whilst maintaining our dedication to our historical and traditional foundation.

Our commitment to you

Parker & Kissane Solicitors prioritises its personal and professional approach to legal advice founded upon knowledge and experience. Our commitment to being approachable and maintaining the genuine relationships we build with our clients does not compromise our ability to deliver consistently competent and quality legal services. Our collaborative and meaningful approach ensures ongoing loyalty from our clients and is the catalyst for the evolving growth of our firm and its place as a distinguished provider of legal advice to the Northern Rivers. We are personally committed to delivering our clients outcomes that place a higher value on the loyalty and respect we receive than the receipt of ongoing fees that do not necessarily equate to the most commercially sensible outcome for our clients.

Our values

We are proud to deliver legal services that are competent and professional without compromising our dedication to being friendly, approachable, and accommodating. We understand that the trust and loyalty of our clients is derived from our ongoing commitment to ensuring those values are reflected in the way we approach your legal work. This is equally reflected in the high esteem at which our firm is held by other legal offices, the Courts, and other professionals working together within the legal industry. Our reputation is one you can benefit from and rely on.
